Infra Isn’t Dead, It’s Just Changing Clothes

Old-school infra meant racks, power, and patch cables. New-school infra means Terraform, cost optimization, and container orchestration. The core responsibility is still there — just abstracted.

Org Implications

Here’s what I see coming:

• Infra and Cloud will sit in the same org, or become indistinguishable
• Developers will expect paved paths, not snowflake VMs
• Your platform team is your infra team now
