I'm currently deep in the trenches of cloud architecture, AI workflows, and building the future I want to see — one piece at a time.

🧠 Primary Focus

• Driving cloud-native architecture and strategy all day
• Scaling my use of AI to achieve more than I could alone
• Building voice-first AI workflows to make humans more effective (and happier)
• Designing DevSecOps systems that *actually* improve delivery speed and reliability

🚧 In Progress

• Overhauling tracemcquaig.com with Astro, Tailwind, and a custom AI workflows
• Helping clients architect cloud systems with less friction and more strategy
• Home Assistant integrations with custom AI esp32-s3 hardware for natural home AI experience

🧪 Learning

• Practical AI enabled integrations that actually complete a task
• esp-idf, astro, n8n, python, json, yaml
• Minimalist productivity systems that don’t suck

🌎 Life

• Riding my Ducati Scrambler 1100 SP and Yamaha MT-10 SP across Texas backroads
• Increasing my capability to reject solar radiation and enhance evaporative cooling
• Spending time with my boys and Alicia
• Working on HOA improvements and reinvesting in my neighborhood
